We recommend this program for hockey players ages 8 and up.

Your age and prior training experience will impact your need for resistance. The program can be done without any resistance though we recommend a dumbbell set (5-20 pounds) to be able to progress different exercises. If you do not have a dumbbell set you can use a backpack filled with items or 4 – litre milk jugs (= 9 pounds) filled with water.

Workout time depends on the day and phase you are working on. Typically workouts will range from 30 to 50 minutes.

We have attached an extensive video library to view technique as well as demonstrate and describe lesser known concepts in videos throughout the program. If you are completely stumped, email us and we will be sure to clear things up.

Every individual is unique though our testing has shown significant increases in general body strength, on-ice acceleration and overall skating speed for those who put 100% effort into the program

No, the program is a mobile responsive PDF download that can be viewed on multiple devices. It contains internal links to help with navigating the pages as well as external links which are video demonstrations.

Significant gains, require significant stress. If you are able to make the exercises difficult enough with adequate dumbbell resistance, you can expect gains. We recommend elite players (Jr, CIS, NCAA, Pro) follow a custom program to suit your individual needs.

We plan to release the Speed Builder Blueprint Elite sometime in 2021 which will require the use of a gym.
